The DENR-Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Banga, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental conservation by supporting a commemorative tree growing activity during the 25th Anniversary of Biotech Farms Inc.

DENR CENRO Banga provided a total of 1,100 tree seedlings, which were planted during the activity as part of the celebration’s environmental initiative. The office also actively participated in the event alongside the employees of Biotech Farms Inc. and members of the Davao Virgo Security Guards.

 

The tree planting activity highlights the importance of environmental stewardship and demonstrates the collective commitment of the public and 233private sectors to protecting and restoring the country’s forest resources. By planting native tree species, the initiative contributes to climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation, watershed protection, and the promotion of a healthier environment for future generations.

 

Representatives from DENR CENRO Banga joined the participants in planting the seedlings, emphasizing that environmental protection is a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of government agencies, private organizations, and local communities.

The activity also served as a meaningful way for Biotech Farms Inc. to commemorate its 25 years of operation by giving back to the environment and reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility. Likewise, the participation of the company’s employees and the Davao Virgo Security Guards showcased the value of volunteerism and teamwork in advancing sustainable environmental initiatives. ###.
