????: To strengthen the campaign on the protection and conservation of wildlife species, the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Banga, facilitated an orientation for the prospective Wildlife Enforcement Officers (WEOs) with participants from the Municipalities of Lake Sebu and Norala, and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), on February 7, at MRF/MENR Office, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

 During the orientation, the topics discussed were the salient features of RA 9147 also known as the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act or the Wildlife Act of 2001, the different kinds of permits including its applications, WEO deputation, functions of deputized WEOs, Identification of commonly traded wildlife species and other related laws.
