Morning Hearts’ Assembly
Valentine’s Day Celebration of Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO), South Cotabato
PENRO Koronadal, Feb. 14, 2022 –Morning Assembly was NOT an ORDINARY ASSEMBLY as the staff of PENRO, South Cotabato, were fascinated by a surprise Valentine’s Day Celebration during the early program. The workforce felt the love breezing on-air as they were serenaded and received red and white roses accompanied with positive life and love quotes as well as brownies.
The assembly started with a prayer, singing of the National Anthem, and recitation of pledges. PENR Officer Shalimar Disomangcop conveyed his reminders and work plans followed by the schedules announced by Engr. Estelita Corpuz, Chief, Management Services Division, as an essential part of the morning assembly.
After the announcements, Ms. Mary Ann Tenorio, Designated Focal Person of Gender and Development (GAD) and Assistant Protected Area Superintended (APASu-MMPL) took the moment and greeted everyone with “Happy Hearts’ Day”. Upon greeting, she distributed red/white roses and brownies with positive and practical life aphorisms. Visible fond smiles were given in return by the receivers. The said initiative was inspired by GAD advocacy, believing that flowers are a good source of happiness, a happiness that resonates.
As the distribution went on, Jeatrin Oro, Project Support Officer (PSO) serenaded everyone in the acoustic tune of “Your Love” by Alamid. Everyone sang along and felt the message of the song.
The spread of sweet valentine tokens was not yet done, Gloria G. Delfin, Development Management Officer (DMO) III, Chief of Regulation and Permitting Section (RPS), handed a fine-looking mini bouquet. This is her support to the business of young children who artistically prepared the bunch supporting “Turning Livelihood into Love”.
Works and deadlines might be the DATE of the whole team for that special day, but nothing is going to deprive them of receiving and sharing the LOVE.
