The event was witnessed by wife Dr. Fatima Andie Emban-Sinarimbo and Son Ali of the new PENRO, together with friends DENR officials and employees from the regional office and the provincial offices in South Cotabato and Sarangani Provinces. Mr. Miko Sueno who is a personal friend of Sinarimbo also witnessed the affair.
DENR Regional Director Reynulfo A. Juan who was attending a meeting of the Regional Development Council in nearby General Santos City was represented by his two Assistant Regional Directors (ARD), namely ARD Morakie P. Domanday of the Management Services and ARD Hadja Didaw D. Piang-Brahim of the Technical Services. Also present were Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) Shalimar A. Disomangcop stationed in Banga, South Cotabato and For. Abdul D. Cariga.
Sinarimbo is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Laws from Notre Dame University in Cotabato City. He also obtained his Master in Public Administration degree from MSU – Maguindanao where he is currently taking up Master of Arts in Peace and Development Studies. He started his career in DENR in 1999 as a Senior Science Research Specialist of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau XII.
From there he was designated as the Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) of the DENR in Kiamba, Sarangani (December 13, 2013 - June 6, 2014). He was also the Chief of the Finance Division (June 9, 2014 - March 22, 2016), after which he was the Supervising Administrative Officer of the Finance Division of the DENR Regional Office until his recent post.
