On June 1, 2015, the Adhoc Committee on Recruitment conducted the Merit Selection and Promotion Plan Orientation. This was one of the most awaited activity by PENRO South Cotabato since it signified the start of the examination and deliberation of applicants for the RatPlan positions. The committee was headed by the Chief Administrative Officer of DENR XII, Bai Mariam K. Sabdullah. A special message was given by the Chair of the Regional Placement and Selection Board, ARD for Management Services Muripaga T. Umpar. Also present during the activity were PENR Officer Mama G. Samaon, Al Haj, CENRO Wahid S. Amella of General Santos City and CENRO Shalimar A. Disomangcop.

         Permanent and Contactual employees from PENRO South Cotabato, CENROs Banga and  General Santos, Regional Office and other field offices attended the activity held at EMR Center, City of Koronadal. After the comprehensive orientation, several questions and clarifications were raised by the attendees which were answered clearly by AO Sabdullah. Following the MSPP, the written exams for the permanent employees was conducted.

        The interview of candidates started also on the same day and lasted until June 7, 2015. The well-organized preparation of documents, venue and other logistics were the key components for the smooth delivery and success of the interview.
