With the trees as the highlight, one and all strike their unique posts and enjoyed the prepared games. Gleeful countenance illuminated as trees were evenly distributed.

Noraida B. Formacion, Chief, Technical Services Division, enthused the vigor of the participants with her closing message. Reminding everybody how wonderful it is to keep on nurturing the environment and enjoying its benefits. All the participants cheered as she willingly freehanded a cash prize who could perform the trivia question.

To finish, Larry Curias, CENR Officer of Banga, Engr. Estelita Corpuz, Chief Management Services Division, and Noraida B. Formacion, adjudicated the twelve (12) entries of Best Tree Hugging Post during the 1st PENRO South Cotabato Management Conference (ManCon) held at Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City, South Cotabato on February 23-24, 2022.

Among the 12 entries, three (3) tree-hugger posts protruded and impressed the three judges. Third place was hit by Jessa Simangan, Office Support Staff, Jet Benson Silvederio, Project Support Staff for the 2nd place, and the entry of Darlene Prado, Office Support Assistant, was declared as  The Best Tree Hugging Post.

To ensure that humans remain gaining these positive health benefits from trees, it is encouraged to “Hug a Tree Now and Absorb the Good Feelings!” (WildTree Adventures, 2022). Hugging a tree is a Hug worth to Treemember.  (JEATRIN V. ORO, MMPL Staff; MARY ANN C. TENORIO,  DMO III, Designated IO)
